Download of PHStat2 4.1 was on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The following versions: 4.1, 3.0 and 2.8 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users.
This software is a product of Prentice Hall, Inc., a division of Pearson Education. PHStat2 relates to Education Tools. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. The program's installer is commonly called PHStat2.exe. PHStat2 was developed to work on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 or Windows 11 and is compatible with 32-bit systems.

PHStat2 is a statistics add-in for Microsoft Excel. It makes using Excel easier for statistical operations. All statistical methods taught in an introductory statistics course can be done in Excel using the add-in along with the Data Analysis Tool Pack (that comes with Excel.)
Version 3.0 of the program includes Paired t Test, Pooled-Variance t Test Procedure for un-summarized data added, Separate-Variance t Test, etc.
