PaperPort 14.0 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. This tool was originally created by Nuance.
You can execute this PC software on Windows 2000/XP/XP Professional/Vista/7/8/10/11 32-bit. Commonly, this program's installer has the following filenames: PaprPort.exe, ScannerWizard.exe, pppagevw.exe and KillPaperPort.exe etc.
The program lies within Office Tools, more precisely Document management. The most popular versions of the PaperPort are 14.0, 11.2 and 11.1. This PC tool can operate with the following extension: ".max".
PaperPort is sometimes referred to as "ScanSoft PaperPort", "ScanSoft PaperPort Viewer", "ScanSoft PaperPort 10". We cannot guarantee that the program is safe to download as it will be downloaded from the developer's website. Before launching the program, check it with any free antivirus software.

Where can I get a viewer to open old .max files?
I've been using PaperPort 14 on Windows 10 since it was introduced. With virtually no problems. My issues with paper port started earlier this year, with loading the program. So, I've been using alternative apps to accomplish many of the tasks I used to run using PaperPort. Particularly, scanning documents to be stored.
Pedro Rincon, I had the "Re-Load issue as well, I completely uninstalled it, cleaned it out of the registry, and re-installed it and it now runs fine.
PaperPort desktop will not install on Windows 10. Direct scan works but when I scan to desktop, it will not open. Unusable on Windows 10.
I'm a long time user of PaperPort but the latest version (14.0) will not run under Windows 10 and I have found the supposed update to 14.5 is impossible to install so I've lost the use of this program and can no longer recommend it to anyone unless you're still running XP.
It's good for scanning.

I purchased an ADS-1500w Brother Scanner and the software on CD was included. I find it disturbing that Mac and Windows OS's are supported and no Linux OS options. I purchased the Scanner for Linux compatibility and your bundle is totally useless.
I think it has various versions that you will find useful.
