PathToClipboard 1.0.3 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. This free program was originally developed by 12noon. The program lies within Office Tools, more precisely Clipboard Tools. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus.
From the developer:
Sometimes you need to type in the path of a file or a folder or maybe just a filename. Sure, you can go to the Address bar in Windows Explorer, copy the text, go to your document and paste it. Of course, if you also need the file's name, you have to start the rename process, copy the name, escape out of the rename, then go to your document and paste it in. I don't need to tell you how tedious this is.
That's why I wrote PathToClipboard.
You may want to check out more software, such as WinPaster or Bill4Time Widget, which might be similar to PathToClipboard.
