ProtectU 1.6 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. This free program is an intellectual property of ProtectU.
ProtectU was developed to work on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10 or Windows 11 and is compatible with 32-bit systems. The ProtectU installer is commonly called app.exe. ProtectU is a free anti-virus and malware detection program for Windows. This application features Malware Remover tools that designed specifically to take out malware from an infected computer, in case a virus pass through the antivirus check. Its detection process can identify active viruses, contained viruses, and inactive malware that may be hidden and lurking on the infected computer.
