Emulate the work of an operating system via an open-source toolset. Run system files and standard programs from the actual computer drives detected by the emulated environment. Create remote access points to work with files and programs of different devices.

The 5.0 version of Qemu is available as a free download on our website. Our antivirus scan shows that this download is malware free. The program is included in System Utilities. This free tool was originally created by Fabrice Bellard.

The following versions: 1.0, 0.9 and 0.8 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users. The Qemu installer is commonly called qemu-system-armw.exe, qemu-system-i386.exe, qemu-system-x86_64.exe or QemuManager.exe etc. Qemu is suitable for 32-bit versions of Windows XP/Vista/7.

From the developer:

QEMU is a generic and open source machine emulator and virtualizer. When used as a machine emulator, QEMU can run OSes and programs made for one machine (e.g. an ARM board) on a different machine (e.g. your own PC). By using dynamic translation, it achieves very good performance.

When used as a virtualizer, QEMU achieves near native performance by executing the guest code directly on the host CPU.

You may want to check out more software, such as QEMU Accelerator Module, Qemu Simple Boot or UFS Explorer RAID Recovery, which might be similar to Qemu.
