ScreenFlow
Record the activity on the screen of a personal computer or select an area or a window for the utility to capture. The content is then processed in the built-in editor with options to cut, rotate, reverse and split the video. A library of filters and visual effects is available.
ScreenFlow 1.0 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The most popular versions of the ScreenFlow 2.1 and 1.0. This program was originally developed by Telestream, Inc. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The software lies within Multimedia Tools, more precisely Editors & Converters.

I used ScreenFlow before, but sometimes it flunked. So, I looked for an alternative and found the AceThinker Screen Grabber Pro. It runs smoothly every time I record videos or movies on my desktop. And all the recorded videos I have using this tool are in HD quality!
