Shotwell

Shotwell is an excellent photo viewing and management tool. It's easy to use, and allows you to quickly import images from a disk or camera, and then organize them by events, ratings, keywords, or folders. The editing features are also great, allowing you to rotate, straighten, and crop your pictures, as well as tweak the color, exposure, and saturation parameters. The slideshow feature is also very useful, and the ability to share the results on social media sites like Facebook, Flickr, Tumblr, and YouTube is a great bonus. Highly recommended!
