SmartLexicon
Description
SmartLexicon 0.30 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The program's installer file is commonly found as SmartLexicon.exe. The most popular version among the software users is 0.3.
The actual developer of the free software is Kostas Giannakakis. The program is included in Development Tools. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.
From the developer:
The application should load dictionaries in various formats. Emphasis should be given on dictionaries in simple text format and on DICT dictionaries. DICT is a client/server protocol for accessing dictionary definitions from a set of natural language dictionary databases. These databases are available under the GPL license.
You may want to check out more software, such as DBAddin, EMS SQL Manager 2005 for PostgreSQL or Mybase, which might be similar to SmartLexicon.
