Description
Downloading StartPro 2.0 from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. This software is a product of Daedalus Software. StartPro lies within System Utilities, more precisely System Optimization. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.
From the developer:
StartPro allows users to add and remove programs located in the Registry, Startup folder, and win.ini file that load during start-up. Features include SmartBin, which saves deleted items for future restoration, and Boot Options, which allows the user to modify settings located in the msdos.sys file. StartPro also includes support for drag-and-drop and clipboard functions. This version includes added protection against overwriting the msdos.
You may want to check out more software, such as Clean Disk 2003, Lasso or NuLOOQ navigator, which might be similar to StartPro.
