Review
SuperDVD Player is designed to serve as an all-in-one tool to deal with media files.
The program supports 13 types of files – DVD IFO, VCD DAT, Windows AVI, MP3, Wave Files, DVD VOB, DivX, MPEG, WMX, ASP, RMVB, 3GP and MP4. When installing the software, you can tick out those that you are not going to use later. However, it does not seem sensible as the number of chosen options in no way worsens the program’s performance.
Since most users have such basic programs as Winamp and Windows Media Player initially installed on their PCs, we were mostly interested in those options of the software that are not inherent in other simple programs of the kind. Here refer TV options and snapshoot options, both of which perform reliably. With the snapshoot option, you can take single shots or set the program make a series of them.
Video performance of SuperDVD Player is of no less interest. Basically it is almost the same as with standard players. Among the additional options, the following ones can be pointed out: users can determine brightness, contrast, hue and saturation. It is also possible to speed movies up to 16 times or make them up to 4 times slower. However, in our tests, the maximum speed didn’t work – just a single still shot of the film was displayed.
Overall, the program is a good one, but still it is nothing out of the ordinary. Thus, we give it the mark below.
