Synergy
Description
I recently started using Synergy and I'm very impressed. It's incredibly easy to set up and use, and it works exactly as advertised. I can now easily switch back and forth between my two computers without having to constantly switch out my mouse and keyboard. The clipboard merging feature is a great bonus too - it makes it super easy to transfer data between the two machines. Highly recommended!
Downloading Synergy 1.8.8 from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. This program was originally designed by Synergy Seamless Inc. The program belongs to System Utilities.
We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The Synergy installer is commonly called Synergy.exe, launcher.exe, Synergy.plc.exe, synergy2.exe or SynergyClientStartup.exe etc. Synergy was developed to work on Windows XP, Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 or Windows 11 and can function on 32 or 64-bit systems. The most popular versions of the tool 4.0, 3.7 and 1.8.
From the developer:
Synergy lets you easily share your mouse and keyboard between multiple computers on your desk, and it's Free and Open Source. Just move your mouse off the edge of one computer's screen on to another. You can even share all of your clipboards. All you need is a network connection. Synergy is cross-platform (works on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux).
You may want to check out more software, such as Synergy+, Synergy/DE or Synergy Set Word Metadata, which might be similar to Synergy.
