Description
The Link King is a powerful tool for cleaning and merging data sets. It uses probabilistic record linkage to identify and remove duplicate records from the decennial census. This process is especially important when merging multiple data sets, as it ensures that the data sets are accurately linked and that no duplicate records are included. The Link King also allows users to customize their data cleaning process and adjust the degree of accuracy needed for the linkage. Overall, The Link King is a great tool for cleaning and merging data sets and ensuring accuracy in the data sets.

The Link King’s probabilistic record linkage protocol was adapted from the algorithm developed by MEDSTAT for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Integrated Database
Project. The deterministic record linkage protocols were developed at Washington State’s Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse for use in a variety of evaluation and research projects.
