There was a download of TheSearchMan 1.6 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. TheSearchMan is included in System Utilities. The TheSearchMan installer is commonly called TheSearchMan.exe. The following version: 1.5 is the most frequently downloaded one by the program users. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The actual developer of the free software is VenusSoft Corp.

TheSearchMan is a portable search tool for Windows that is fast, accurate and multi-threaded. It can be executed from any location of the Windows operating system. It is very simple tu use: run the program, select the drive/folder where you want to search for a file, enter the keyword or extension.
