Description
Run various torque tests on your computer. Get information concerning angular momentum, angular acceleration, and moment of inertia. Use a ruler tool as well as velocity and acceleration vectors. Tweak the outer radius, inner radius, platform mass, and force of break parameters.
Torque 7.0.150.3 can be downloaded from our software library for free. Torque.exe or TORQUEDemo.exe are the common file names to indicate this program's installer. This free PC software is compatible with Windows XP/XP Professional/Vista/7/8/10/11 environment, 32 and 64-bit versions.
This free tool was originally designed by University of Colorado, Department of Physics. The size of the latest installation package available is 2.4 MB. The software lies within Development Tools, more precisely Database Tools. This download was scanned by our antivirus and was rated as safe. The following versions: 7.0, 6.0 and 1.1 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users.
From the developer:
Investigate how torque causes an object to rotate. Discover the relationships between angular acceleration, moment of inertia, angular momentum and torque. Determine the relationship between the applied force, frictional force (of the brake) and the torque.
Write an equation that relates the torque required to the radius at which the force is applied.
