TracTrix 7.0.17317.1 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. TT2000.exe, TTV5.exe, TTV6.exe and TTV7.exe are the most frequent filenames for this program's installer. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The most popular versions of the software are 7.0, 6.6 and 6.5. The actual developer of the program is Trix Systems AB. TracTrix is included in Photo & Graphics Tools.

TracTrix lets you to view, mark up and compare drawings. Using this program, you can open scans, CAD and PDF files. You can also convert the files to PDF and email them directly from this application. You can use the Automatic Drawing Comparator that highlights changes between different versions of the files.

I bought Track Trix at the 90's. It was naturally more simple that time and also had a moderate price. But it was really the number one compared with anything. I did trace using it drawings and it was very good for that. Not so much to edit after. That time e.g. CorelDraw's tracing was terrible. Still today CorelDraw's tracing is not at all as good as Track trix was at the 90's. But now the Track Trix is very advanced, so advanced that I should not have any use for most of its features. The price is now sky high so I can only skip it. Too much for drawings, illustrations in lesser number per time.
