WorldPad
Create documents in the basic word processor by typing the new and editing the existing texts with the option to select and erase specific parts. The only special feature of the program is displaying text in complex scripts using the Graphite rendering engine.
WorldPad 5.0 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The most popular versions among WorldPad users are 5.0, 2.8 and 0.5.
The program lies within Office Tools, more precisely Document management. This free software was originally designed by SIL International. This PC program works fine with 32-bit versions of Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10/11. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The program's installer file is generally known as WorldPad.exe.

WorldPad is a basic text editor whose main distinction is the ability to display text in complex scripts using Graphite, a programmable rendering engine particularly suited to complex minority scripts. WorldPad can also be used to work with text in a simple "Roman" scripts.
Some of WorldPad's text-editing features include multilingual text processing, named styles, right-to-left paragraph orientation, and mixed direction text flow handling.
