Enrich the collection of fonts in the Computer Modern set to work with the TeX.Bitmap (PK) files and re-establish compatibility with the older data by incorporating new TeX components. The package works with Type 1 elements and installs the fonts automatically.
AMS-Fonts 3.0 could be downloaded from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The software lies within System Utilities, more precisely Fonts. This free program was originally produced by American Mathematical Society. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The following version: 3.0 is the most frequently downloaded one by the program users.

The AMSFonts collection is a set of miscellaneous TeX fonts that augment the standard Computer Modern set normally distributed with TeX.Bitmap (PK) files are no longer distributed or supported. Where Type 1 fonts are available, modern TeX distributions do not require PK fonts. When PK fonts are required for some specialized purpose, they can easily be generated on the fly.
