Downloading AudioNUT 2.0 from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The following versions: 2.0 and 1.9 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users. The program is included in Multimedia Tools. This free program was originally developed by Craig Anderson. The default filename for the program's installer is AudioNUT.exe. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus.

This tool is an open-source media player for Windows that you can easily modify yourself. AudioNut is an simple audio player that was coded in Visual Basic 6 and uses the BASS libraries. With it you can play a variety of file formats like: MP1, MP2, MP3, OGG, WAV, WAVE, AIF, AIFF and more. The program supports gapless playback for LAME encoded MP3s, Ogg Vorbis, Musepack, WAV and Lossless formats.
