There was a download of Cognex CVL 7.0 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The most popular version among the software users is 7.0. Cognex CVL lies within Multimedia Tools, more precisely Codecs. This free software is an intellectual property of Cognex. CalibrationWizard.exe, idbedit.exe and ImageFontExtractor.exe are the most common filenames for this program's installer.

In CVL , the image processing, image analysis, and vision tools listed in Table 1
support the use of images without any upper limit to their size (the only limit is the amount
of the available physical memory). Certain tools did not work properly when used with certain large image sizes. All of these limitations have been removed, subject to the changes described in the section Large Image.
You may want to check out more software, such as Cognex Explorer, Cognex In-Sight OPC Server or Cognex ECD Wizard, which might be similar to Cognex CVL.
