Last year

I've had licensed versions since the DOS days in the 1980s with lots KEXX macros. The last version I had was 32 bit and was capable of 2 million rows, an insane number of rows. I agree it's really powerful. The tiny window for opening files in a directory tree wasn't good, but though I've loved KEDIT for decades I now use NotePad++.

Excel allows for about a million rows to be read in. There is No limit in KEDIT, and it is so fast. And the ALL command! I feel blessed to be able to use this program.

It is far superior to any other general editor, it is a shame that people under 50 don't know about. I just wish they had written a port to Unix.
