Excel allows for about a million rows to be read in. There is No limit in KEDIT, and it is so fast. And the ALL command! I feel blessed to be able to use this program.

It is far superior to any other general editor, it is a shame that people under 50 don't know about. I just wish they had written a port to Unix.

Kedit has the unique editing capability of allowing you to move column and boxes of text the way other editors allow moving lines. You can also do a limited amount of editing binary files with it. I have used it since 1983. It is similar to the THE editor, both are copies of the same IBM mainframe editor of the 70s.
