NerveSim is a simulated experiment for investigating the effects of drugs and the ionic composition (Na, K concentrations) of the bathing solution on the nerve action potential in the squid giant axon.
The intracellular membrane potential of the nerve is recorded from a 3M KCL filled glass micropipette electrode inserted into the axon and connected to an oscilloscope recording device via an amplifier.

You may want to check out more software, such as Wintree, FSAcars or Archimedes Geo3D, which might be similar to NerveSim.
