I recently tried Photomatix Basic and was very impressed. The software was easy to use and the results were great. I was able to quickly combine multiple images with different exposure settings into a single HDR image. The interface was intuitive and the output settings allowed me to adjust the color, saturation, luminosity, contrast, brightness, and other settings. The panorama feature was also a great addition. Overall, I would highly recommend Photomatix Basic for anyone looking to combine images with different exposure settings.
Photomatix Basic 1.2.1 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The following versions: 4.1, 1.2 and 1.1 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users.
