Replaces the default webcam driver for the Plugable USB2-Micro-200X USB microscope provided by Microsoft and enable improved functionality with up to 50X optical magnification and up to 200X digital magnification. Without any additional software, it functions as a standard webcam and can be used with the default webcam utility included in your computer's operating system.
Download of Plugable Digital Microscope Driver 1.0 was on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The program is included in System Utilities. The following version: 1.0 is the most frequently downloaded one by the program users. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. A custom driver for the microscope, which replaces Microsoft’s default webcam driver for it. The Plugable USB2-Micro-200X USB microscope provides up to 50X magnification optically and up to 200x and can be used on computers running Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux simply by plugging it into a spare USB 2.0 or 3.0 port and it requires no external power.
