Description

PzDB 1.3.19 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. This tool was originally designed by Rocketship Software.

The most frequent installation filenames for the software include: StartAccess3_2007.exe and StartAccess_2007.exe etc. You can launch this PC program on Windows Vista/7/8/10/11 32-bit. The software lies within Photo & Graphics Tools, more precisely Viewers & Editors. The most popular versions of the PzDB are 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus.

From the developer:

PzDB is a file organizing program for Windows users. It was originally designed to sort Poser content (which is primarily .Pz2 and .Pz3 files, hence the name) but has since been expanded to organize all kinds of CGI graphics documents and media files.

You may want to check out more software, such as Simple Slide Show, peopleputty or SPX Editor, which might be related to PzDB.

It has also worked well in Windows 10. Unfortunately, it recently stopped working for me, possibly because of a recent Windows 10 update, possibly not. More precisely, it has not stopped working, but I can no longer add new content to it. The other functions still seem operational. Wish I could find someone who was expert at PzDB, or with MS Access so I could see if there was a way of getting around this problem.Without a doubt, this is the most powerful and versatile "librarian" function available for Poser, and I've grown heavily dependent upon it in the last ten years. The ability to create custom keywords and groups, the ability to link related products across multiple libraries makes it easier to find items without necessarily knowing their names or their creators. (I can buy a prop from one vendor, buy an add-on from a different vendor, and a freebie add-on from a third source and create a keyword that reminds me that items A, B, C work with each other, and which figure they work on.)
