Downloading R16 Driver 1.21 from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The program is included in System Utilities. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The most popular versions of the software are 1.5, 1.2 and 1.0. The R16 Driver provides you a easy interface to communicate with your R16 device. The R16 can record up to 8 tracks simultaneously. Comes equipped with 8 input jacks that accept both XLR and phone connectors, including one that can handle high impedance signals and two that can supply 48V phantom power.
