Download of SharpEye 2.7 was on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. This program was originally designed by Visiv. The software lies within Multimedia Tools, more precisely General. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus.

Scan music with our highly acclaimed music scanning program SharpEye. You can use SharpEye to scan and convert printed sheet music into a music notation file or a MIDI file which can then be imported into a music notation program or MIDI sequencer. This process is called music OCR by analogy with the more common text OCR.
