Smart diary suite is multifunctional PIM software.
Having launched the software, you will be first offered to create a new diary or open an already existent one if you have any. You can password protect your personal diary if you wish that is a good option for those who want to hide their lives from private eyes.
There are three main options in this program: the diary, the scheduler and the tasks.
The calendar is also suitably displayed in the interface.
I was tempted to download this program only because of 'Life Factors' feature that, as was advertised on the developer site, "allows you to see how different aspects of your life affect your health and happiness by plotting them on a graph". In my testing though I failed to try this option, as the tool gave away the message after my attempt: "Encountered an improper argument". Maybe, these options, as well as the other ones I was interested in, like nutrition, its effect on your mood etc., are available only in the registered version, as the program is not free and the trial version is limited in its functionality. So I was able to use the program just as a PIM – that is nothing to write home about, as even a cell phone serves this purpose. What about me, I even prefer the mobile PIM, because it reminds me about the due event with a sound.
Surely, this program is very illustrative, and you can adjust it to your needs, and there is a plenty of useful particulars, like priority flags, graphs etc. and it works as a reminder too – the message window pop-ups in a due time that is effective in case you work on a computer all day long. I would use it as a scheduler - you can make up your daily, weekly or monthly agenda etc. This tool would be useful for a student, an HR manager or businessman or someone else whose diary is loaded with events.
On the whole, I found the program interface too busy, and I didn’t take into some options available even in this free version, like how to make a diary entries graph, but I am sure that once you have grasped the way it works, it will be easy and convenient for you.
