Sock Wizard 2.0 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The following versions: 2.0 and 1.0 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users. The actual developer of the program is Knitting Software. The program lies within Home & Hobby Tools, more precisely General. The common filenames for the program's installer are sockwiz.exe or SockWizard.exe etc.
From the developer:
Sock Wizard is based on the same easy to use interface as Sweater Wizard. Choose a shoe size, enter gauge and in minutes you are ready to start knitting. Knit from cuff to toe, or toe to cuff on the needles of your choice.
Sock Wizard Guide, the program's help system, is not an ordinary software manual. In addition to guiding the user through the software, Sock Wizard Guide is a mini-book on sock knitting.
You may want to check out more software, such as VHS2DVD Wizard, Green Screen Wizard or Green Screen Wizard Photobooth, which might be similar to Sock Wizard.
