From the developer:
SoftPerfect RAM File System is a high-performance, in-memory file system for Windows that stores files entirely in the computer memory. Unlike traditional RAM disks, which create a virtual block device and format it with NTFS or exFAT, RAM FS is a file system in its own right that lives directly in RAM. This removes a whole layer of overhead, making RAM FS faster than any physical SSD and faster than conventional RAM disks as well.
You may want to check out more software, such as SoftPerfect RAM Disk, EaseFilter File System Filter Driver SDK or Blayd File System UI, which might be similar to SoftPerfect RAM File System.
