SolTrace relates to Education Tools. The following versions: 2012.7, 2011.7 and 1.0 were the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users. SolTrace is a program for modelling concentrated solar power (CSP) systems and analyzing their optical performance. This program uses Monte Carlo ray-tracing methodology. The user selects a given number of rays to be traced. Each ray is traced through the system while encountering various optical interactions.
