There was a download of Sound Editor 7.5.1 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The following versions: 7.5, 6.0 and 5.5 were the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users.
The software lies within Multimedia Tools, more precisely General. The actual developer of the software is MultiMedia Soft. The program's installer files are commonly found as ae.exe, switch.exe, SoundEditorPro.exe, soundeditor.exe or SoundEdit9.exe etc.
From the developer:
Audio Sound Editor for .NET is an application that allows you to add sound editing capabilities to Winform and WPF applications. Thanks to the integration with the well known BASS library, which comes with decoding capabilities for the most common sound formats such as MP3, WAV, Ogg Vorbis and many others, Audio Sound Editor allows creating powerful audio editing applications.
You may want to check out more software, such as WaveMax Sound Editor, All Sound Editor XP or Kurzweil Artis Sound Editor, which might be similar to Sound Editor.
