From the developer:
SysSync works by comparing all files in the two selected locations. If the source file has a later date than the same file in the target the target file is overwritten. Optionally SysSync can also delete any files found in the target that are no longer present on the source (ie. they have presumably been deleted).
Again optionally SysSync can also add new files in the source that are not present on the target.
You may want to check out more software, such as Paragon Rescue Kit, Jungle Disk or USB SIM Card Reader, which might be related to SysSync.
