I've been using WinMerge for years and it's one of the best folder comparison and merging tools I've ever used. It's easy to use, highly customizable, and has plenty of options for comparing and merging files. It's especially useful for finding differences between two folders and then quickly merging them. The reporting options are also great for tracking changes over time. Highly recommended!
There was a download of WinMerge 2.16.38 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The following versions: 2.14, 2.12 and 2.9 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users.
