There was a download of Energy Analysis Utility 2.5 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The most popular versions of the program are 2.5 and 1.1.

Building thermal performance calculations are made for two primary reasons. They are made to size and select mechanical equipment or to predict the annual energy consumption of a structure.
While these two tasks are not mutually exclusive, and some programs can handle both tasks, they do tend to be conducted in isolation from each other.
