LockPopCM
LockPopCM 1.12 for Mac was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The program lies within System Tools, more precisely System Optimization.
According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. The actual developer of this free software for Mac is Setnan. The latest installer takes up 29 KB on disk.

LockPopCM is a very simple and compact contextual menu plugin that allows to lock or unlock your selection in Finder or any software app that handle this sort of plugin. Version 1.1 introduces recursivity. You can now lock/unlock/toggle files and folders on the entire content of a folder. In the confirmation dialog, there's also an "Only one level" button that allows you to modify only the selected folder content (not recursively).
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as Dock Delight, which might be similar to LockPopCM.
