Description
A plain-text file notepad with markdown support and todo list management. It is open source and can work in conjunction with the notes application of ownCloud, allowing you to access and edit your notes from your mobile device or the ownCloud web-service. All notes are stored as plain text files and can be synced using the ownCloud sync client. It offers a convenient way to jot down your thoughts and stay organized on the go.
QOwnNotes 25.7.9 for Mac was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The application lies within Productivity Tools, more precisely Office Tools. This free Mac app is an intellectual property of Patrizio Bekerle. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.
From the developer:
QOwnNotes is the open source plain-text file notepad with markdown support and todo list manager, that (optionally) works together with the notes application of ownCloud. So you are able to write down your thoughts and edit or search for them later from your mobile device (like with CloudNotes) or the ownCloud web-service. The notes are stored as plain text files and you can sync them with your ownCloud sync client.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as PDFMergeThing, NanoCount or Gordon, which might be related to QOwnNotes.
