The 1.0 version of RepairHomePermissions for Mac was available as a free download on our website. This Mac download was scanned by our antivirus and was rated as safe. The actual developer of this free software for Mac is Eclecticlight. The software relates to System Tools.

From the developer:

RepairHomePermissions guides the user through the Finder preliminaries, then runs the first command if an error code is encountered. If that returns an error of the type quoted by Apple, it then runs the second command, and tries the first again after that.

You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as WebGrab-FF2, Plug Tools or Startup Chime Stopper, which might be similar to RepairHomePermissions.
