Grant certain applications access to AX API functions such as capturing text and keystrokes under the mouse pointer. Restrict all applications from using AX API functions. This control over AX API access enhances user privacy and security by determining which applications can interact with sensitive data.
The 2.0.1 version of Trust for Mac was available to download on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The most popular version of the software is 2.0. The Trust installer is commonly called Trust.zip.
This free Mac application was originally created by Deep IT, Uncle MiF. The application is categorized as Security Tools. Trust enables the Accessibility API (AX API) only for user specified applications. If you enable it, any application will have access to the AX API, and vise versa: If you disable it, no application will be able to use the AX API functions.
