VirtualVTR 9.9 for Mac could be downloaded from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The application relates to Audio & Video Tools. This software for Mac OS X was originally developed by Gallery. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.

From the developer:

It turns a Macintosh Computer into a Quicktime-based, professional non-linear VTR. VirtualVTR can be extermally controlled via Midi, Sony 9-Pin protocols or TCP/IP*, and can also synchronise playback, chasing timecode, even in multi-channel configurations.

You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as V-Synth Librarian, SongScreen Liquid or VirtualDeckBrowser, which might be related to VirtualVTR.
