Who Is Connected
Downloading Who Is Connected 1.03 for Mac from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The following versions: 1.03 and 1.0 were the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users.
The Who Is Connected installer is commonly called whoisconnected.dmg. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. This free Mac application is an intellectual property of Chris Jones. The software lies within Internet & Network Tools, more precisely Network tools.
From the developer:
Who is connected is a small (1.1Mb) unobtrusive menu bar app which monitors the status of Apple File Sharing (AFP) and Remote Login (SSH) for Mac OS X.
Who is connected? shows both the status of AFP & SSH ( i.e. whether they are enabled or not in System Preferences ) and if users are connected to your Mac, all via a simple icon ( menu bar icon ) in the Mac OS X menu bar. In addition the user is notified of new SSH connections via Growl.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as Desktop Connect, NumPad Connector or Life Size Connections, which might be related to Who Is Connected.
