SkunkTracker 1.9.3 for Mac was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. This software for Mac OS X was originally designed by Mobile Geographics. The program lies within Internet & Network Tools, more precisely Network tools. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus.
From the developer:
SkunkTracker displays live, updating maps of ships and boats. It uses AIS data streams from your own dedicated AIS receivers or from network feeds.
Note: you need an AIS radio to use SkunkTracker. Your radio can be connected via USB, Bluetooth, WiFi, wired Ethernet, or a USB-serial converter.
What's new in this version:
Cosmetic improvements to map symbols and to location display.
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as IPNetShareX, PPPoE Connector or tn3270, which might be similar to SkunkTracker.
