Description

Play your music files in iTunes or Rhythmbox while reading their metadata. Convert ID3 tags of your MP3 files from Big5 to the Unicode format. Process ID3 data in single or batch mode. Have a v2 tag automatically added to the beginning of the files having only a v1 tag.

From the developer:

Unicode Rewriter is a Java tool which converts ID3 tags of MP3 files into Unicode. The reconverted MP3 files can be processed by iTunes and Rhythmbox. The ID3 tags were encoding using Big5. As I was also a Mac OS X user, I used iTunes to listen to the MP3 files. Unfortunately, iTunes is unable to understand Big5 encoding. It only accepts Unicode.
