iRamDisk
Generate virtual memory blocks and run them like real disks in Mac OS X. Check the resulting items and apply them to system operations to reduce the delay of a compilation, image processing, etc. Save the current virtual drive and recreate it or other copies based on your specifications.
Our website provides a free download of iRamDisk 3.6.15 for Mac. The program is included in System Tools. This free Mac application was originally created by Michael Parrot.

iRamDisk uses a block of memory to creates a virtual RAM Volume displayed like real disk by Mac OS X. Data into memory are written and read more quickly than the system disk. Move the temporary files into RamDisk may reduce the delay of a process (compilation, image processing,...). iRamDisk is based on Unix commands.
