There was a download of Ambulant Open SMIL Player 2.6 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. This free PC software is developed for Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10/11 environment, 32-bit version.

The AMBULANT Open SMIL Player is an audio/video player with support for SMIL 3.0. It is intended for researchers and developers who want a source-code player upon which they can build higher-level systems solutions. The AMBULANT player may also be used as a complete, multi-platform media player for applications that do not need support for closed, proprietary media formats.
