aseprite 1.2.40 could be downloaded from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. Aseprite relates to Photo & Graphics Tools. The most popular versions of the aseprite are 1.2, 1.1 and 1.0.
This tool was originally produced by David Capello. The default filename for the program's installer is aseprite.exe. We cannot guarantee that the program is safe to download as it will be downloaded from the developer's website. Before launching the program, check it with any free antivirus software.

Aseprite lets you create 2D animations for video games. From sprites to pixel-art, retro-style graphics, and whatever you like about the 8-bit (and 16-bit) era. The timeline is not visible by default, you can make it visible from View > Timeline menu option or pressing Tab key. (Also it popups automatically when you add a new frame or a new layer.). You can drag-and-drop tabs to a side or duplicate them using Ctrl or Alt keys.
You may want to check out more software, such as Project Zomboid Mod Application, which might be similar to aseprite.
