From the developer:
AutoTheory is an external midi sequencer. It intercepts and organizes data from your keyboard and sends up to 8 virtual midi controllers into your digital audio workstation (DAW). It also syncs as a slave to DAWs, providing sequencer alignment through Ableton Link (Reason, Live, Maschine, Bitwig) or MIDI Beat Clock (Pro Tools, Cubase, FL Studio). Setting up AutoTheory is the same as setting up multiple midi controllers within your DAW.
You may want to check out more software, such as Waves 360 Surround Tools Bundle, VertexDSP vxPlug or iConcertCal, which might be similar to Autotheory.
