You could have downloaded BarahaUnicode 10.5 from our software library for free. The following versions: 10.5, 9.3 and 9.2 were the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users. The actual developer of the program is Baraha Software. You can set up BarahaUnicode on Windows XP/7/8 32-bit. BarahaUnicode belongs to Office Tools. The default filenames for the program's installer are BarahaIME.exe or BarahaPad.exe etc. Our built-in antivirus checked this download and rated it as virus free.

Baraha breaks the keyboard barrier for Indian languages by using a phonetic keyboard in which any Indian language word may be typed using the standard English keyboard. Baraha user doesn't feel any discomfort when he switches between typing Indian language text and English. In fact, writing in Baraha is as simple and easy as writing our names in English.

I have been using this baraha from 14 years. It is very useful for office and other professional works
I have been using the Baraha software since about 1998. I now have 3 licenses for 3 of my computers. It is the best software for Kannada and Devanagari scripts. I have typed more than 1000 pages of Kannada writings, mainly to preserve out of print books and Veda mantras. Veda mantras have been particularly very useful, as the fonts in books are so small and the swaras are difficult to read. I export the files to MS word and I can format it to read clearly and easily. Caution, one needs a guide or Guru to make sure the typed versions have the correct spelling and swaras. Baraha has been extremely useful for this purpose. Thank you.
