Description
Batch Rename is an incredibly useful tool for quickly and easily changing the names of files stored in your system. It's very intuitive and user-friendly, allowing you to filter and arrange files in any order and rename folders and sub-folders. It also has great features like viewing thumbnails of photos and reading and changing metadata stored in ID3 tags in music tracks, PDF, and DOCX data in documents, and EXIF tags in images. Highly recommended!
Batch Rename 3.0.2 could be downloaded from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. This free program is a product of Software Directions. The most popular versions among Batch Rename users are 3.0 and 1.0. Batch Rename.exe, batchrename.exe, batchrenamestart.exe or Batname.exe are the default file names to indicate this program's installer. The program is included in System Utilities. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus.
From the developer:
This free utility integrates directly into Windows Explorer. After installing the utility, you use it by selecting the files you wish to rename in Windows Explorer, then choosing "Batch Rename..." from the right-click context menu.
You may want to check out more software, such as Batch Renamer, Batch Rename.EXE or Batch Rename Digital Photos Software, which might be similar to Batch Rename.
