I am writing to report an issue we encountered after updating to DALI-Cockpit Version 1.38 when using it together with a Phoenix Contact PLCnext controller and the AXL F DALI2 module.
In our previous setup, we were successfully able to interface the DALI-Cockpit Version 1.37 with the PLCnext controller by selecting:
Bus Interface → Network → Phoenix Contact PLCnext,
entering the PLC’s IP address (Port 4840), and providing the PLC username and password.
After login, DALI-Cockpit V1.37 correctly displayed the device information such as Model, Manufacturer, Serial Number, and Network Address, and communication worked as expected.
However, after upgrading to DALI-Cockpit V1.38, the same configuration does not function anymore.
Although the login window still appears and we can enter the PLC credentials, the interface information fields remain completely empty (Model, Manufacturer, Serial Number, Device Revision, etc.), and no DALI communication is established. I have attached screenshots showing both the working behavior in V1.37 and the non-functional behavior in V1.38.
Additionally, when returning to Version 1.37, the software now displays a warning stating that it is an outdated version and can only be used 10 more times, which will prevent us from using the only version that currently works with PLCnext.
We kindly request your guidance on the following:
Is there any additional configuration needed in DALI-Cockpit V1.38 to enable communication with the Phoenix Contact PLCnext interface?
