Review
Digital Aquarium Screensaver is just one of the products by DigiAquaScr. When I first saw the screenshots of this tremendous beauty on the DigiAquaScr website, I thought it was some kind of joke. I mean if you really see the images of any screensaver created by the company, you'll understand me. Probably, you thought “Who in their right mind...?!” or “It certainly should be retro style, no, it certainly should be...”. But the severe truth is that the screensaver is just how it is pictured on the website. And it is a demo version, which means that it doesn't even come for free. And don't even ask me about the price.
Digital Aquarium Screensaver is just one of the examples in the series of screensavers created by DigiAquaScr. But don't even think to justify it by saying that it is their first job or some kind of a term paper made by a student from the 80's. Because all of the screensavers are just like that and I should mention that the website dedicated to these masterpieces was created in 2010.
When you launch the Digital Aquarium Screensaver, you'll see the change of the acid background colours and the underwater plants will flabbergast you with all the indescribable beauty of low poly. Then suddenly a lonely Demekin appears and begins to swim around with an expression of wide-awake silent horror on its face. But even this miserable creature won't stay for long and leave you alone with the flashy background, sounds of underwater bubbles and low-poly plants.
If you decide to close the underwater scene, you'll see a message offering you to purchase the license and the extended list of features you'll get after that, like having 100 species of fish, realistic shadows and the ability too zoom in and out. And I can't even imagine what might stop you from buying the full version of Digital Aquarium Screensaver.
